The Webers and Lobitz's said their last farewells at Mothers Bistro Cabaret Karaoke on March 31st. It was, ironically, the farewell of Cabaret Karaoke at Mothers as well. George, KJ Extraordinaire, has decided to take a break after 5 years of hosting Cabaret Karaoke every last Thursday. Hey, good buddy, you will be missed by all those wannabe Lady Gagas, Freddie Mercurys, Jimmy Buffets, etc.
Back to the performances: all the Webers and Lobitzs were active participants. A particular treat was opera performer Hilary showing her pop chops with a Nora Jones tune. Meredith's Mom and Dad both revealed (maybe) the DNA roots of her vocal talents. A final note to the Great John L - "Hey, man, Ole Blue Eyes had nothing on you!"
